Revio is a web-based workspace for running systematic literature reviews: importing references, screening, AI-assisted evidence extraction with word-for-word quote verification, human review, risk-of-bias appraisal, PRISMA reporting, analytics, and manuscript export. It is provided as an online subscription service at revio.tools; nothing is shipped and nothing needs to be installed.
You need an account with a working email address to use the tool, and a verified email address to use the AI features on the free trial. Keep your password to yourself and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been misused. One account is for one person; research groups share through the Lab plan's seats, not by sharing a password.
AI features are metered in credits. Asking a question or drafting an answer uses 10 credits; processing a full article uses 20 to 60 depending on its length. Every new account starts with a free trial of 250 credits, no card needed. The Pro plan ($39 per month, or $348 per year) includes 5,000 credits per calendar month for one researcher. The Lab plan ($29 per seat monthly, or $290 per seat yearly, 2 to 20 seats) gives the whole team one shared pool of 5,000 credits per seat per month. A $5 top-up adds 1,000 credits that never expire and are spent only after the monthly allowance runs out; on a Lab plan, a top-up bought by any member is added to the team's shared pool. Monthly allowances reset on the first day of each calendar month and unused allowance does not roll over. If an AI call fails, the credits it would have used are automatically returned. The prices shown at checkout are the ones that apply; we may change pricing for future billing periods with notice on the site.
You can cancel any subscription at any time from Manage billing inside the tool. Your plan then stays active until the end of the period you already paid for and simply does not renew. Everything except the AI buttons keeps working without a plan, and your data stays available.
Use Revio only for lawful research work. Do not attempt to bypass the credit metering, probe or overload the service, resell access, create accounts to farm trial credits, or upload material you have no right to process. We may suspend accounts that do, and will say why.
Your articles, questions, decisions, notes, and drafts remain yours; Revio claims no ownership of them and uses them only to provide the service to you. You are responsible for having the right to process the articles you load into the tool.
Revio verifies every extracted quote character by character against the source text before it enters your evidence base, but the drafted answers, appraisal prefills, and translations are AI-assisted writing. They can be incomplete or wrong, which is exactly why the review desk exists. You are responsible for reviewing and approving everything before you rely on it or publish it. Revio is a research tool, not medical, legal, or professional advice.
We work to keep Revio fast and available, but it is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States of America, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved directly will be subject to the courts of the United States. If you use Revio from another country, you remain responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you.
We may update these terms as the product evolves; the date at the top of this page always shows the current version, and material changes will be noted on the site. If anything here is unclear, or if you have a dispute, write to Ashkanani@saaah.co first and we will work it out directly.
Your article PDFs are read inside your own browser and are never uploaded to Revio's servers. When you use an AI feature, the extracted text of the relevant article and your questions are sent through our server to Anthropic, the AI provider, to generate the response; the server holds the AI key and meters credits, and does not keep a copy of your article text. Work in progress is autosaved to your own browser's storage, not to our servers, unless you turn on Live sync as described above.
Revio sends only transactional notices: a welcome note, a low-trial-credits alert, an 80%-of-allowance alert, and a payment-failure notice, plus the receipts Stripe sends for payments. They go to the address you save on the Subscription page; clear that address and the notices stop. There is no marketing list.
Revio runs on Google Firebase (hosting, sign-in, and database, served from Google Cloud, us-central1), uses Anthropic to generate AI responses, and uses Stripe to process payments. Each processes data only to provide its part of the service under its own security terms.
The public pages of revio.tools (the home, sign-in, register, and legal pages) load Google's advertising tag, which uses a cookie so that when a visitor arrives from one of our ads and creates an account, Google can count that the ad worked. The tag is not loaded inside the workspace itself, no article text or review data is ever shared with it, and blocking it with an ad blocker does not affect how Revio works.
For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the cookie stays off until a choice bar on these pages is answered; declining keeps it off, in which case the tag sends only cookieless counts. The answer is stored in this browser, and clearing the browser's site data brings the choice bar back.
You can change your email and password in Settings, clear the receipts address at any time, and keep Live sync off if you prefer nothing synced. To access, correct, or delete your account and its associated data, email Ashkanani@saaah.co from your account address and it will be handled promptly. Revio is a professional research tool and is not directed at children.
The free trial needs no card, so you can test the entire workflow before paying anything.
Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from Manage billing; access then continues to the end of the period already paid for, and no further charges are made. Because you can try everything free first and cancel in one click, unused time on a monthly or yearly plan is not automatically refunded.
Top-up credits never expire, and credits are only ever spent on completed AI calls; a failed call returns its credits automatically. Credits that have been spent are not refundable.
If something goes wrong on our side, a duplicate charge, a plan bought by clear mistake and left unused, or a billing error, email Ashkanani@saaah.co within 14 days of the charge and it will be refunded. Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable statutory rights you hold as a consumer where you live.
